Rhys Jenkins, a Swansea University alumnus, will give a talk on Wednesday 10th May 2017:
“University life has its trials such as exams, essays, tutorials etc; for me a trial could also be the prospect of a night out and interacting with others. Sometimes these trials can be like mission impossible in their own ways but through two beliefs regarding hope and imagination you can find ways of passing these trials. My talk can encourage you to think differently about these trials by exploring the mind of a man with autism.”
The talk will take place at 12.30-13.30 on 10th May in room 113 (first floor) of the School of Management building at the Bay Campus, and is open to both staff and students. It will provide an insight into life with autism and how Rhys, through hope and imagination, is getting through the different trials that he faces.
