The Office for National Statistics (ONS) produces information to improve understanding of the UK’s economy and society, informing decisions that touch the lives of everyone living in the UK.
The ONS will be giving a talk on 26 November 2015 at 17.00 – 18.00, Room 230 – Keir Hardy.
They will give an introduction to what the ONS is, what it does and the graduate roles available. The talk will also cover how the ONS fits into the wider Government Statistical Service (GSS) and how you can apply to work in the ONS and GSS.
Target audience: Students with an interest in statistics or research, preferably students completing a degree with a statistical component or with experience in statistical concepts.
